A unique Trappist beer that is even put to rest sorted by year in the
cellars of the abbey for further fermentation. The strongest beer of La
Trappe with a beautiful amber colour. The warm taste is full and
well-balanced. A little bit sweet and pleasantly bitter. La Trappe
Quadruple is also fermented in oak barrels.Since 2008, we also age La Trappe Quadrupel in oak barrels. This gives the
oak-aged Trappist beer an even fuller taste with a special wooded scent, which is comparable to wood-aged red wine.

Trappist Achel Blonde is a Tripel, meaning three times the amount of malt is used in the brew, producing a strong beer with a sweet complex flavour. Tripels tend to be quite bitter, with an ample dose of hops added to balance the sweetness from the malt. There is no other beer like Timmermans Lambicus Blanche anywhere in the world. It is made by bringing together lambic with the process used for brewing beers based on malted wheat. By the addition of spices such as coriander and dried orange zest, a beer is created with a light, fruity flavour, deliberately cloudy and subtly spicy. Should ideally be drunk from an authentic stoneware pot.An unconventional blanche brewed as it was once in the farms of the Payotteland, with wheat added to a lambic. Its flavour is slightly tart and fairly rounded with a hint of lemon peel, slightly sweet but excellent as a thirst quencher.
