As the year draws to a close, we’re excited to invite you to our Beer Festival, a perfect occasion to enjoy the finer things in life. Set your calendars for Friday, December 29th, and Saturday, December 30th, for a gathering that’s all about good taste, great company, and a relaxed atmosphere.

🍺 A Great Selection: We’re proud to feature a range of 20 real ales and 20 ciders as well as a large range of other drinks.

🍽️ Quality Bites, Fair Prices: Delight in our reasonably priced, quality food options, complementing our array of drinks, ensuring a well-rounded experience.

🎵 Sophisticated Sounds: Enjoy the ambiance set by live musicians, details and timings published nearer the time. We’ve also arranged some engaging activities and games, perfect for a leisurely day out.

🕚 Flexible Timing for Your Convenience: The festival runs from 11 AM to 11 PM on both days, giving you plenty of time to join us at your leisure.

Mongozo Coconut is an exotic beer with the refreshing taste of coconut. The beer is brewed using Mongozo Quinua. The way to drink coconut beer is, of course, from a coconut shell. However, there is of course a glass designed especially for Mongozo beer, for those who find this not to be practical. Mongozo Coconut’s refreshing taste makes it an excellent accompaniment to exotic dishes. The beer carries the Fairtrade/Max Havelaar label.

This is a particularly good blonde beer with lots of strong, clean citric
hop character throughout. The orange peel that is included amongst the
ingredients tends to only come through in the nose. This beer is great when
served straight from the fridge as a little of the freshness is lost as it
warms up.

Gentse Strop is a blond Belgian speciality beer with high fermentation and
bottle fermentation. It has a fruity aroma and subtle hopping. It owes its
name to the proud people of Ghent, nicknamed Òslings carriersÓ.The beer is brewed by Brouwerij Roman, established in Mater, a borough of
Oudenaard. Oudenaarde and Ghent have a rich history as a pivotal figure in
common with Charles. The revolt of Ghent in 1540 against Charles V gave
them their nickname Òslings carriersÓ but Oudenaarde is also the birthplace
of the illegitimate daughter of Charles, Margaret of Parma. And then
thereÕs the Oudenaardse figure Hanske Warrior who was the lookout but
because he had drunk too much beer fell and sleep and so had not seen how
Charles and his troops invaded the city of Oudenaarde.As the icing on the cake, the historic year of 1545 was also the year that
the Roman family brewery started.
