Welcome to The Blackfriars Tavern in Great Yarmouth! The Tavern underwent an extensive refurbishment inside and out in 2020 after being purchased. It has been featured in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for 2023 and 2022, and has been named the CAMRA Pub of the Year Runner-up for both years. In addition, it has been recognized as the CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year Runner-up for 2023. The Good Pub Guide Website also recommends it as the only pub in Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area.
We pride ourselves on offering something for everyone, with a warm welcome and friendly service, whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular looking for a new local spot.
Currently, we’re serving an ever-changing selection of award-winning real ales and real ciders, along with handmade cocktails. We also offer a normal selection of draught lagers, wines, and spirits, as you would expect from any traditional pub.
