We are pleased to recieve the news that we have been judged the Norfolk CAMRA Cider Pub Of The Year for the second consecutive year!. This is in large part due to our customers and their friendly welcome. Watch out for some exciting things in the Cider space over the next couple of months, including some exclusive ciders and perrys over the next couple of weeks.
Mark Lewis, East Norfolk CAMRA Chair commented, “We are pleased to announce that, following scoring by CAMRA members from across Norfolk, Blackfriars Tavern Great Yarmouth achieved the highest average score across the 4 branches’ Cider Pubs of the Year (CPOTY) and has therefore been declared to be the Norfolk Cider Pub of the Year, and will therefore now go forward as County CPOTY to compete at regional level to find the East Anglia CPOTY. We congratulate Blackfriars Tavern on achieving this accolade for the 2nd consecutive year, which recognises the consistency of the Cider offering of the pub, and the hard work and dedication put in to achieve this very high standard, and wish the pub well as it progresses to the regional competition. Cheers!”
