Hi, it’s that time again, and this month, we have a treat for you! Alistair, the owner and brewer at Fengate Brewery will be doing a “Meet the Brewer session” with us from 7pm until 8pm. This is open to regular customers as well as the Blackfriars Tavern Amature Brewer group, but we do ask that you let us know if you are coming so we can manage numbers – first come first served if oversubscribed.
The meet the brewer session will be fairly informal. Three of Alistair’s beer will be on the bar that night, and he will talk us through each one. There will be a Q&A session. People are invited to submit questions in advance, and Alistair will pick some out to answer – they could be about his brewing or they could also be questions about brewing problems you might have, although we can’t expect him to divulge all his secrets!
Hope to see some of your along, whether it’s for the meet the brewer aspect, or whether you are looking to join in with the Amateur Brewers session afterwards from 8pm until 9pm.
